Every time PAC visit the Pattaya Dog Camp, we find dogs like this, or dead. PAC is raising funds to help the dogs. We do not support the shelter, nor the way that is run.

The fear of every dog shelter is Distemper. During our travels to different areas in Thailand, we saw the terrible impact this virus has. In one shelter 200 dogs died in a few weeks time just because of someone brought one sick dog. There is no cure, only caring, and it can take weeks – a luxury no shelter in Thailand can afford. Most veterinary clinics in Thailand will push you out the door if you bring a dog with distemper into the clinic.

In Pattaya 800 dogs are in danger each day. They are are weak from malnutrition, sickness, and bad conditions and new dogs that haven’t been quarantined are brought in everyday. A single sick dog could kill all of them in a month.

PAC and Thailand Dog is fundraising for vaccination campaign to vaccinate 800 dogs in the Pattaya dog camp. We want to give each dog the 5 in 1 vaccination that provides protection from Distemper, Hepatitis (Adenovirus type 2), Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus. This needs to be injected two times on each dog.

Currently, every puppy that comes to this camp dies after 3 months. Even if we take them outside the camps they still die because the place is so infected with disease, death, and despair that nothing can save them but your donation.

Each dog (excluding the puppies) cost 500 THB /$17 to vaccinate, including a collar.

The cost for a veterinarian or veterinary student at 1000 THB/ $33 per day but our hope is to get them to volunteer.

Each Puppy costs about 1500 THB / $50 to vaccinate during several weeks time.

Our hope is to reach our goals and more to stop the killing of these puppies and grown up dogs. If we exceed our goal we will use the money to treat dogs for mange, since 80 % of the dogs have it as well and quarantine cages.
