Biggest Animal Event in Thailand

It all started in November 2013 one year ago when Neo the founder of PAC – Pattaya Animal Coalition went to see the dog shelter in Plutaluang Shelter. PAC found 1000 malnourished dogs in very bad conditions and have worked closely with Pattaya City Hall since then to improve the conditions. With the help of Soi Dog Foundation they secured a food donations of 300 000 thb and Neo then undertook a fundraising run of 999 KM from North Thailand back to Pattaya to secure more food. Along with other local Animal charities and I love thai dogs in Bangsaen PAC and the 999 km run they managed to get another 500 000 thb worth of dog food. When the food was secured PAC successfully petstionsed Pattaya City Hall to increase the food rations and improve the conditions for the dogs. However dogs were still dying from viruses and sickness and with 1000 unvaccinated dogs there is always a risk that one dog could infect 1000 with distemper or Parvo virus.
โครงการนี้เกิดขึ้นปี 2556 ในวันที่คุณนีโอผู้ก่อตั้งมูลินิธิ PAC-Pattaya Animal Coalition ได้พบกับศูนย์รับเลี้ยงสุนัขจรจัด พลูตาหลวง โครงการ PAC ก็ได้เริ่มช่วยเหลือสุนัขที่เจ็บป่วยอาการหนักได้ไว้เกือบ 1000 ตัว และได้นำพวกเขาไปอยู่ในความดูแลของเทศบาลพัทยาซึ่งทำให้พวกเขามีสุขภาพที่ดีขึ้นตามลำดับ นอกจากนั้นแล้วกลุ่มซอยสุนัขก็ได้เข้ามาช่วยให้เงินทุนสนับสนุนอาหารสุนัขอีกจำนวน 300,000 บาท พร้อมกับเงินอีก 500,000 บาทที่ได้จากการวิ่งการกุศลเป็นระยะทาง 999 กิโลเมตร จากภาคเหนือลงมาถึงพัทยา อีกส่วนก็มาจากการช่วยเหลือของมูลนิธิต่างๆ เพื่อช่วยสุนัขและโครงการ I love thai dog ในกลุ่ม PAC บางแสน ทั้งนี้เราก็ได้จับมือกับทางเทศบาลเพื่อช่วยเหลือสุนัขพวกนี้ให้มีอาหารอย่างเพียงพอ แต่กระนั้น เราก็พบว่าสุนัขก็ยังมีการเจ็บป่วยจากเชื่อไวรัส และการไม่ได้รับการฉีดวัคซีนอย่างเพียงพอทำให้พวกมันได้รับเชื่อโรค และเกือบ 1,000 ตัว ต้องตายจากเราไปเพราะพวกเขามีเชื้อไวรัสหัดสุนัขและพาร์โวไวรัส
With the help of the musical brothers “Beer” Soranut Masayavanich and “Fluke” Krikphol Madayavanich they got in contact with Chollada Mekratri and the Voice Foundation in Bangkok. On the 22th of November 2014 The Voice Foundations organized a big sterilizations campaign together with PAC and the Chulalongkorn Veterinary Students and volunteers they vaccinated 1000 dogs in one of the biggest animal rescue operations in Thailand. The Dog Nation, SOS, The Thailand Adopter Club also helped organizing the event and made sure kittens and puppies got a new home. Many animals were also adopted and got medical treatment for various illness Altogether there was about 100 people present with many media and press on locations to document this big event. There will be an Animal Charity meeting in Bangkok with many foundations and after that In about three weeks there will be another event to give the second vaccinations. The animals at the shelter Shelter do not need more food at the moment they need vaccine,medical care.and to get adopted.
อย่างไรก็ตามทางเราต้องขอขอบคุณสองพี่น้องนักดนตรีน้อง “เบียร์” สรนัท มัสยาวานิช และน้อง “ฟลุ๊ค” กฤพล มัสยาวานิช ผู้ซึ่งแนะนำให้กลุ่มของเรารู้จักคุณชลดา เมฆทรี และมูลนิธิ the voice กรุงเทพฯ จนทำให้ในวันที่ 22 พฤศจิกายน 2557 นี้ พวกเราได้มีการจัดงานการกุศลครั้งยิ่งใหญ่เพื่อช่วยสนุขกว่า 1000 ตัว ให้ได้รับการฉีดวัคซีนโดยโครงการนี้ได้รับความร่วมมือจากหลายฝ่าย ทั้งจากทางองค์กร PAC ของเรา, มูลนิธิ the voice, นักศึกษาจากสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยจุฬาลงกรณ์ และอาสาสมัครอีกมากมาย สำหรับการดูแลงานนั้นกลุ่มอาสาสมัคร Dog Nation กลุ่มสานสายใยชีวิต และกลุ่มนักรับเลี้ยงสัตว์ได้ช่วยกันดำเนินงานประสานกับฝ่ายต่างๆ ทำให้งานเดินไปได้อย่างราบรื่น มีประชาชนนับร้อย และนักข่าวจากสื่อต่างๆ ให้ความสนใจเป็นอย่างมาก ยิ่งไปกว่านั้นอีกแค่ 3 สัปดาห์ เราจะมีกิจกรรมดีๆ อย่างนี้ให้ทุกๆ ท่านได้ร่วมกันช่วยทำบุญช่วยเหลือเพื่อนร่วมโลกของเราอย่างน้องหมาและน้องแมวอีกครั้งครับ โดยทุกๆ ท่านสามารถช่วยกันให้วัคซีนแกพวกเขา หรือจะนำพวกเขาไปอุปการะที่บ้านก็ได้นะครับ
